Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

    Comment from a wise friend...
"Once one can truly accept that they are powerful beings with the ability to CREATE the world around them , then it's ones DUTY to shine as a beacon of happiness , hope , honesty and integrity but most of all LOVE.........................................♥"

  2. I love this piece of writing...it's so hopeful.

I have great hope for humanity despite the sadness I see around me. I think people are waking up more and more. I just recently woke from slumber myself (within the past 2 1/2 years), so know that it's possible. I think a lot of people who have been in the know for long periods of time tend to be discouraged and almost antagonistic towards those who refuse to see the truth, but I am proof positive that despite a lifetime of brainwashing, I was moved to find the truth. I listened to my heart. It came from within--so I know that power is inside all of us since we are all connected. We must remain hopeful and believe in our magnificence.
